The celebration
A Summer wedding filled with colour and sunshine
Shevaun and Jack married at Aldwark Manor on the hottest day of the year. The sunshine set the tone for a relaxed celebration, with cocktails, lawn games and a floral palette that brought together luminous peach, soft summer blue and white.
The aim was to create flowers that felt romantic and refined without becoming overly formal. Full of movement, texture and seasonal character. The colours brought warmth and freshness in equal measure, complementing the garden surroundings and the relaxed atmosphere of the day.
The Floral Palette
Warm peach, airy blue and delicate white
At the heart of the floral design were Shimmer roses, chosen for their beautiful luminous peach colouring. Their warmth was balanced by pale blue delphiniums, which introduced height and movement, and blue hydrangeas, which created softer clouds of summer colour.
Peach lisianthus added another layer of gentle, ruffled texture. White Majolica spray roses and scabiosa brought delicate highlights through the arrangements, preventing the stronger colours from feeling too heavy.
Loose foliage completed the designs, creating the natural, garden-inspired finish that runs throughout so much of River and Rose’s work.
